Iakovos Photiades Foodstuff Suppliers Ltd celebrated the New Year 2008 at the Aldiana Hotel. As part of the weekend event all 130 members of the ipH staff participated in a team building exercise .The event was the beginning of a year long program to introduce a new culture within ipH and improve teamwork and leadership skills
The aim of the exercise was to bring all members of staff together from all the different departments of ipH , and launch the new ipH slogan for 2008 “mazi pio psila” The slogan will be the basis for on going training and development within the company for 2008.
ipH used an innovative and creative program which has proved a huge success in educating all member of the ipH team in the importance of good teamwork. Seminars have been given over weekends at various hotels around Cyprus to all members of ipH as a new progressive culture and better practices of team work, time management, problem solving and leadership skills have been introduced. Most importantly team members from all the various departments of ipH have had the chance to meet, share concerns and problems and discuss openly ways to improve work practice and efficiency.
New working practices have been introduced into the company based on ideas created from the program, and new systems for decision-making, and analysis of information have are now used as a standard within the business
ipH serves over 2000 customers and has a consistent history of sales growth since the company was formed in 1981. This successful growth has been built on close cooperation with its customers and investment in its staff training and infrastructure. The importance of working as a team and building partnerships with all of its customers is at the heart of ipH strategy for the future.
